My favourite illustrator and graphic designer is Tove Jansson. I love her bold lines and quirky characters. This picture came during the cusp of waking up one morning. I wrote down the poem, as the image came into my head. The poem goes: we waited and waited my brother and I for a ball, which never came down from the sky. It is published under my name 11:43 on the hitrecord.org website as well.
One of a series of spontaneous thoughts drawn during the process of separating ideas suited to drawing and ideas suitable for paintings. This got added to the hitrecord.org website under the same title with the poem attached: Staring at the sea, a slice of moon in her tea.
